Abstract
The presence of Brachynema germarii (Kolenati, 1846) (Hemiptera: Heteroptera: Pentatomidae) in Malta is reported. The European distribution of the species is summarized, and additional information on the occurrence of the genus Brachynema Mulsant & Rey, 1852 in Malta is given.
